Hornbacher’s Potentially Impacted by Nationwide Cantaloupe Recall

Recall 2 113023

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Hornbacher’s is letting customers know that they are being potentially impacted by the cantaloupe recall first issued in early November.

The recall comes from Sofia Produce, LLC, doing business as Trufresh.

Limited quantities of cantaloupe branded under Malichita and Rudy were distributed to Hornbacher’s between October 19 and November 9.

They may have been sold whole or processed into cut cantaloupe.

Pre-cut cantaloupe under the Kwik Trip, Kroger, Trader Joes, Vinyard, Aldi, Freshness Guaranteed and Racetrac brands are also impacted.

You are urged to throw away the fruit.

Nationwide, the CDC says the salmonella outbreak has reached 117 cases in 34 states including two deaths in Minnesota.
