Man Enters Alford Plea In June Shooting, Attempted Murder Charge Dropped

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — A man arrested for firing a gun at a woman during a dispute in Mapleton in June enters an Alford plea to aggravated assault during a change of plea hearing in Fargo.
An attempted murder charge was dropped against 27-year-old Kyle Quido, who has no permanent address.
The Alford plea means he maintains his innocence but admits there is enough evidence for a jury to find him guilty.
Quido did plead guilty to three other counts: terrorizing, reckless endangerment and refusal to halt.
No injuries resulted from the incident.
He will be sentenced in January.
