Man Id’d After Fatal Crash Near Dakota Magic Casino, Crash Scene Not Spotted for Hours

RICHLAND CO., N.D. (KVRR) — North Dakota Highway Patrol has released the name of a Fargo man who died after crashing his minivan on I-29 south of Hankinson early Friday morning.
They say 59-year-old Terry Pierson left the interstate near Dakota Magic Casino, hit a road-closed barricade and then struck supports for a highway sign.
He died at the scene.
An investigation found the crash happened around 3 a.m. and not shortly after 8 a.m. which was previously reported.
The crash scene wasn’t spotted until a passerby noticed the minivan around 8:15 a.m. Friday.
The crash remains under investigation.
