Minn-Dak Woodturners Association hosts woodturning extravaganza

MOORHEAD, Minn., (KVRR) — A woodturning extravaganza comes to Moorhead. The Minn-Dak Woodturners Association hosted this event at In The Chips in Moorhead.

The extravaganza was free to attend and complete with cookies, coffee, and woodworkers using machines to make items.

The Minn-Dak Woodturners Association hosted the event to show people that woodturning can be fun and a good hobby. Roy Jacobsen, President of the Minn-Dak Woodturners Association, said, “Yeah, It’s a Great hobby.”

Jacobsen also said, “It’s extremely gratifying to have something when your done that you can hold in your own two hands and say, yup I made this, this is something that I did. Have the vision.”
