LIVE: 98th Little International Livestock Show Celebrates Ag Tradition At NDSU

NDSU is celebrating its agricultural heritage this weekend with the 98th Little International livestock show

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – NDSU is celebrating its agricultural heritage this weekend with the 98th Little International livestock show.

The Saddle and Sirloin club is putting on the show February 10th with a banquet on the 9th.
More than 300 students take part in the livestock show each year.
They’ll show off beef, dairy, sheep, swine and goats that you can check out.
But it’s not just a livestock show. There’s a pageant to go with it.
This year’s Little International Queen, Kasi Holm, is a perfect example of the legacy that agriculture has at NDSU and in the region.

She says, “This has actually kind of been in my family. I am the youngest of five. I’m the fourth one to come to NDSU and be in the S&S club and hold a title as well, so I guess it was kind of in the family tradition.”
