Bismarck child dead after suspected fentanyl poisoning
BISMARCK, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) — A two-year-old child in Bismarck is dead after suspected fentanyl poisoning.
Police were called to the home Sunday night and found Jasten Ribs was unresponsive with a parent trying to revive the child.
He was taken to a Bismarck hospital where he died.
A preliminary test showed the boy’s urine was positive for fentanyl.
His parents, 29-year-old Jasmine Charging and 28-year-old Jordan Ribs, were arrested on charges of endangerment of a child, child neglect, possession of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia.
