Federal Jury Finds White Earth Man Guilty of Production of Child Porn
FERGUS FALLS, Minn. (KVRR) — A White Earth, Minnesota man is found guilty by a federal jury of production of child porn.
34-year-old Ryan Thompson, also known as Ryan Townsend, used a minor in December 2020 to produce pornographic images.
The 13-year-old victim used her school-issued laptop to message the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline and told them Thompson had been sleeping in her room and sexually abusing her.
He was found guilty on two counts of two counts of production and attempted production of child pornography.
A sentencing hearing will be scheduled at a later date.
