Swearing In for Assistant Chief And Three New Officers in West Fargo
WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — There are now three more officers working to make the city of West Fargo a safe place to live.
A swearing in ceremony was held during the city commission meeting for the new recruits and for the new assistant chief.
The officers had to complete the field training process before taking the oath of office.
They include Officers Irankuna Adel, Jacob Stewart and Jaden Halverson.
Family members, friends and loved ones were on hand to witness the special occassion.
Police Chief Pete Nielsen also swore in the man taking his place as assistant chief, Jason Anderson.
He was promoted last month.
“Give the chief an opportunity to really showcase our new staff members and what do to get these people to where they’re at right now to serve the great city of West Fargo and work with the team that we have here, which I personally believe is the best department in the state, so,” said Anderson.
He has been with the West Fargo Police Department since 1999.
