Fargo Cass Public Health Director To Retire in July

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — The leader of Fargo Cass Public Health says she is getting ready to retire this summer.

Desi Fleming has been with the public health agency for 32 years.

She will retire in July.

Fleming began as a Public Health Nurse in 1992.

She eventually rose up the ranks and became director in 2018.

Fleming serves as a member of The City of Fargo Mayor’s Cabinet.

She says she is providing advance notice of her retirement to ensure Fargo Cass Public Health is well-positioned for continued success with fresh leadership.
