FAA Awards $10 Million to Hector International Airport Expansion Project

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — The FAA is chipping in $10 million for the Hector International Airport terminal expansion project.
It is just a fraction of the expected $80 million federal cost share for the project.
The entire remodel and expansion is expected to cost $155 million.
Work is set to begin in the spring to expand the current terminal to nine gates and add a parking garage with an elevated walkway.
Sen. John Hoeven cites the tremendous growth in the region, increased activity at the airport and the need for updates and expansions to ensure it can meet the community’s needs into the future.
