Manitoba Man Accused of Killing 5 Family Members

CARMAN, MANITOBA (KVRR/CNN) — A 29-year-old man from Carman, Manitoba, three and a half hours north of Fargo, is facing murder charges in the deaths of five members of his family.

Three of those deaths are his own kids.

Police first found the suspect’s girlfriend dead in a ditch.

Then they responded to a vehicle fire and found a six-year-old girl, a four-year-old boy and a two-and-a-half-month-old girl dead.

The investigation then took them to a home where they found a 17-year-old girl dead, identified as the suspect’s niece.

Authorities say everyone in the family lived together in the same home.
