SWAT Team Arrests Two People From Memphis In North Fargo

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Red River Valley SWAT is called on to execute another high-risk search warrant in a fugitive investigation.

Two people from Tennessee were arrested in the 1300 block of 5th Avenue North around 8 p.m.

35-year-old Terrica Thompson of Memphis was arrested for an outstanding warrant for Second-Degree Attempted Murder in Memphis.

41-year-old Christopher Butts of Memphis was arrested for an outstanding federal warrant for charges related to narcotics and firearms.

A Flash Sound Diversionary Device was used to create a loud bang and bright flash of light.

Assisting the SWAT team were Fargo Police, Metro Street Crimes Unit, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and U.S. Marshals Service.

The investigation is ongoing.
