Teen Arrested in Breckenridge Charged With Murder in Mankato

MANKATO, Minn. (KVRR/KFGO) — A Mankato teen arrested in Breckenridge on Friday is facing a murder charge for a shooting in Mankato last Thursday.

17-year-old Emmanuel Isaac is charged with second-degree murder with intent in Blue Earth County.

Investigators say Isaac shot and killed 19-year-old Marcus Cargill, Jr. after a heated argument.

After Isaac was arrested at a home in Breckenridge, investigators found the gun used in the shooting.

Two other suspects will face charges for aiding an offender trying to escape arrest.
