West Fargo Cancels School And Activities Tuesday, E-Learning for Moorhead, UND Opening 2 Hours Late

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — West Fargo Public Schools is calling off classes and activities on Tuesday due to the forecasted winter st0rm.
The day of instruction will be made up on Friday, April 19.
An email from the district says they are concerned about their ability to get learners to and from school safely.
- The West Fargo Sports Arena will communicate any weather-related closures directly with outside rental clients; any scheduled high school practices and contests are cancelled.
- The Hulbert Aquatic Center will share their plan for outside rentals and facility programming via their website and Facebook page. Any scheduled high school practices and contests are cancelled.
- YMCA programming at the Early Childhood Center will remain open; all after-school care programs offered by the YMCA in other WFPS school buildings are closed.
- The Metro Area Tournament Committee and NDHSAA will make the decision on all EDC tournament games that are scheduled for tomorrow, February 27.
All Moorhead public and non-public schools, including Community Education classes, are closed February 27. Moorhead Area Public School students in grades E-12 are required to complete an eLearning day. All before-school, after-school and evening activities are canceled.
UND in Grand Forks closed early tonight at 10 p.m. and is reopening two hours late on Tuesday at 10 a.m.
A weather committee will meet Tuesday morning to review the latest weather and road conditions to determine further updates.
Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton Schools will have e-learning on Tuesday.
