University of Jamestown choir concert series to make stop in Fargo for Spring tour

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – The University of Jamestown Concert Choir and Men’s Choir are kicking off their spring tour and are making a stop in Fargo on Sunday. This is a seven-city, four-day tour that will take them across North Dakota and Minnesota.

The concert is about singing for joy, unity and moments of time in nature. This will be the first concert tour under new director Anne Gassmann, who says these tours are great to build bonds on these trips.

“I think building team unity is really important,” said Gassmann. “We actually spend time in the fall doing that and kind of build momentum as we go. But we also make time during our trip to do those kinds of things.”

The Fargo concert show will be held at the First Presbyterian Church on Sunday at 2 p.m. The performance is free and open to the public.
