Names Released in SUV In Reverse Crashes Sunday in Valley City
VALLEY CITY, N.D. (KVRR) — The people involved in crash that included a woman walking and multiple vehicles in Valley City have been identified.
North Dakota Highway Patrol says 83-year-old JoAnn Nathan of Valley City was hit by an SUV while walking Sunday afternoon.
She was flown to a Fargo hospital with life threatening injuries.
85-year-old Ralph Thompson of Page, North Dakota was behind the wheel of the SUV.
It was in reverse when he hit a vehicle, then drove onto a sidewalk hitting Nathan before hitting two other parked, unoccupied vehicles and an office/apartment building.
The incident and potential charges remain under investigation.
