Grygla Man Arrested After Crashing Into Squad Car During Pursuit

BELTRAMI CO., Minn. (KVRR) — A Grygla, Minnesota man was arrested after a pursuit ended by intentionally crashing into a Bemidji Police squad car on Saturday morning.
Police attempted to stop 52-year-old Jason Moe for a traffic violation but he took off and hit speeds of 100 miles per hour.
A Minnesota State Trooper and Beltrami County Deputy successfully deployed tire deflation devices on Highway 71.
That is when Moe crashed into a squad car.
He resisted arrest and was sprayed to gain compliance.
Moe faces charges of fleeing, assault, use of deadly force on a peace officer, driving while impaired, and obstruction with force.
He was medically cleared then taken to jail in Beltrami County.
