Woman Rescued From Red River in Far South Fargo

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — It took firefighters under a minute to rescue a woman found floating on her back in the middle of the Red River in Fargo.

A passerby called 911 Saturday afternoon around 4:15 to report they had seen a person in the water near the 52nd Avenue South Convent Landing.

Crews arrived in no time and went into the river to rescue the woman.

They say she was breathing on her own.

The woman was taken to a local hospital to be checked out.

Her current condition is unknown.
