GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) – You can help a remarkable young woman fighting for her life.

In 2022, Whitney Temple was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a rare cancer that affected her spine.
It has since spread in her body.
She was studying to become a doctor in Grand Forks at the time.
Whitney was able to graduate from medical school while undergoing chemotherapy.
She hasn’t been able to start practicing, and is beginning another round of chemo today.
Her friend Holley Marie says she will become paralyzed if this round of chemo doesn’t work.
She’s helping organize a benefit for her friend on April 13th at the East Grand Forks Eagles Club.

Holley says, “She’s a trooper. Not one bad day that I’ve seen her have. She’s gonna beat this. She knows she’s gonna beat this. She’s in great spirits and she keeps on. Nothing matters. Nothing keeps her down. She just keeps going.”

You can make donations to Whitney even if you can’t make it to the benefit. Simply give Holley a call at 218-791-8180. Click here for all the details on Whitney’s benefit in April.
