West Fargo Daycare Provider Sentenced To Just Under One Year for Child Neglect

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — A West Fargo in-home daycare provider is sentenced to just under one year behind bars for child neglect.
42-year-old Miranda Sorlie entered Alford pleas to two counts of child neglect, seven other charges were dropped.
An Alford plea means Sorlie maintains her innocence but admits that evidence could find her guilty.
She was given 360 days in jail and two years of probation.
Sorlie was charged with neglecting four children under her care between January 2020 and May 2022.
In one case, a one-year-old boy was taken to a Fargo hospital with bruises on his ear, head, arms, and feet.
Sorlie suggested they could be self-inflicted.
