Young Victim of Suspicious Death in Moorhead Is Identified

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) — Police in Moorhead identify the young child who died under suspicious circumstances as 3-year-old Eastyn Deronjic.

The boy was taken to Sanford early Monday after he was found not breathing at 1502 Belsly Boulevard South in Moorhead.

He was later pronounced dead.

Police say the boy and his younger sibling had been staying at the address for an extended period under the care of acquaintances of the parents.

Deronjic’s body was taken to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.

The younger sibling was placed in protective custody.

No charges have been filed as the investigation continues.
