Names Released in Saturday Homicide and Officer Involved Shooting in Larimore, N.D.

LARIMORE, N.D. (KVRR) — Names are released in Saturday’s homicide and officer involved shooting in Larimore, North Dakota.
Grand Forks County Sheriff Andy Schneider says 64-year-old Jamey Holweger was shot to death in a home.
The suspect, 43-year-old Troy Larson, had shot at Holweger and a woman at the residence early Saturday afternoon.
The woman was able to escape to call 911.
Larson fired shots at a SWAT vehicle that breached a window after refusing to surrender.
After an irritant was tossed inside the home, Larson came out in just a robe.
He still refused commands to surrender and was reaching into a pocket when Grand Forks County Sheriff’s Sergeant Ryan Wadlow fired one round striking Larson in the back.
Another Grand Forks County deputy deployed a 40mm direct impact round, striking Larson in the back.
He was eventually taken into custody and to Altru Hospital where his condition is unknown.
Through the investigation it was learned that Holweger and Larson are related.
North Dakota BCI is investigating this incident.
