State Rep. Corey Mock of Grand Forks Will Not Seek the Democratic-NPL Nomination for Re-election

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) — A former North Dakota House Minority Leader is not running again.
State Rep. Corey Mock says he will not seek the Democratic-NPL nomination for re-election in District 18.
In a statement Mock said, “It’s often quipped that North Dakota is one big town with really long roads. Our legislature has historically modeled this adage as a deliberative body with constructive, civil discourse and a neighborly demeanor. I’m proud of my service and contribution to that legacy.”
Mock has served his Grand Forks district for 16 years.
The Democrat says partisan fatigue and political discourse are among the reasons he is not running for re-election.
