BISMARCK, N.D. (KVRR) — U.S. House candidate Rick Becker is back on the campaign trail after pausing activities due to a family emergency.

Becker says his son was riding an electric skateboard when he crashed, and sustained a skull fracture and brain bleed.

In an update on social media, Becker says his son has been discharged after three days in the hospital and is on his way to a full recovery.

He says he is now one hundred percent back to being laser focused on winning North Dakota’s Congressional seat.

Becker is running in the primary for the Republican nomination against endorsed candidate Alex Balazs, Julie Fedorchak, Cara Mund and Sharlet Mohr.
