Concordia College announces $2.8 million track and field renovation

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) — Concordia College in Moorhead announces it is starting work on a $2.8 million outdoor facilities revitalization project.
The new track and turf project allows the college to host Cobber track meets, as well as, Oak Grove track and field events.
Work is already underway inside the Jake Christiansen Stadium.
The project also includes the installation of lights.
Concordia Athletic Director Rachel Bergeson said, “This project is another step forward in providing quality facilities for our student-athletes. We are also creating an environment that attracts students to our vibrant campus community.”
Concordia has partnered with The Fargo-Moorhead Convention and Visitors Bureau and Oak Grove Lutheran School for the remodel.
Both the track surface and the football turf installation is expected to be finished by the end of the summer.
