Crookston Man Sentenced To Over 21 Years in Prison for Child Porn

FERGUS FALLS, Minn. (KVRR) — A Crookston man is sentenced to over 21 years in prison for producing child porn.

U.S. Attorney Andrew Luger says 52-year-old Jorge Torres Jr. produced images and videos showing the sexual abuse of a minor girl.

He says Torres had been sexually assaulting and abusing the minor victim for several years.

The victim reported the abuse to school officials.

He pleaded guilty last December to one count of production of child porn and admitted to other additional conduct constituting production of child porn.

This case was investigated by Crookston Police Department and the FBI’s Minneapolis Crimes Against Children Task Force.
