FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Another big project gets underway in downtown Fargo.

A groundbreaking ceremony was held for The Avery, on the site of the former Avery Tractor Company on NP Avenue.

Kilbourne Group says the six-story building will feature nearly 200 apartments, a nearly 500 spot city-owned parking garage and serve as the new home for Fargo-Moorhead Community Theatre.

It will fill out the 600 block of NP Avenue between Old Broadway and Renaissance Hall.

Fargo Mayor Tim Mahoney even got to ride in the original Avery tractor to help break ground on the project.
