Motorcycle Rider Charged With DUI After Crash in Grand Forks

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) — A crash between a motorcycle and a car in Grand Forks results in DUI charges for the motorcycle rider.

33-year-old Tyler Power of Grand Forks crashed into a car being driven by 39-year-old Heather Wippler of Grand Forks as she was turning into the Ben Franklin Elementary School parking lot around 7:40 last night.

There were no reported injuries on scene, but Power was taken to Altru as a precaution.

He was placed under arrest for DUI and cited for not having liability insurance and unqualified operator.

Investigation of the crash is ongoing.
