The Chamber Holds West Fargo City Commission Candidate Forum

WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — One day after a forum for Fargo City Commission candidates was held, another forum is held for candidates in West Fargo.

This one was hosted by The Chamber in partnership with the Building Industry Association.

All five city commission candidates took part including Tyler Erickson, Rory Jorgensen, DeAnn Reed, John Severson and Amy Zundel.

One of the big topics was the masterplan for downtown West Fargo redevelopment.

“And I think the only concern I have is we’re trying to develop a core that’s not there and the impact surrounding those citizens, like Amy said it’s having an effect on them,” said DeAnn Reed, commission candidate.

“I would really like to make sure that it didn’t overgrow and end up with some of the issues and problems that they’re having in downtown Fargo,” said John Severson, commission candidate.

Two seats are up for grabs on the commission during the election on June 11.
