Norsk Hostfest Cuts Ties With Epic Companies, Will Proceed as Planned This Fall

MINOT, N.D. (KVRR) — More fallout from the troubles at Epic Companies which has had trouble making payroll, laid off a number of employees and still owes contractors.
For the past two years the company has managed Norsk Hostfest in Minot, billed as the largest Scandinavian festival in North America.
Norsk Hostfest Board of Directors held a press conference to announce that this year’s festival in September will proceed as planned under its own management.
The board thanked Epic Events for managing the last two festivals.
Board President John Mackner thanks donors, sponors and volunteers and said he believes 2024 can be the best event ever.
Norsk Hostfest draws about 25,000 people to Minot for the four-day festival each fall.
It’ll be held from September 25 to 28.
