Wahpeton man arrested after house fire breaks out

WAHPETON, N.D. (KVRR) — One man is arrested after a house fire in Wahpeton.

The police department says the fire broke out before 8 p.m. Saturday night in the 500 block of 6th Street North.

Adam Erickson was taken into custody for Endangering by fire or explosion.

Four people live in the house but three people were in the house at the time and were able to get out safely.

There’s also six pets living in the house.

The fire caused extensive damage to the house.
