Motorcycle Driver Killed After Crashing Into Postal Van in Becker Co. is Identified

BECKER CO., Minn. (KVRR) — The driver of a motorcycle who was killed after crashing into a U.S. Postal Service van in Becker County on Saturday has been identified as 39-year-old Travis Hanks of Menahga, Minnesota.

Becker County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened just before 3 p.m. on County Highway 40, about three miles east of Wolf Lake.

The van was crossing the road into a driveway when the vehicles collided.

Hanks died at the scene.

The driver of the van was not hurt.

The crash remains under investigation.
