LIVE: Getting Dirty on the Morning Show

FARGO — It’s wet outside.

It’s muddy.

What can you do, besides complain about it?

Try celebrating it instead.

That’s the plan for Saturday at the First Avenue Market in downtown Fargo, as they celebrate International Mud Day.

Mud Day’s grown at lot since it was first started in 2009 as a way for children to connect with the earth by playing outside in the dirt and mud.

This weekend’s celebration combines local pottery makers, house plant growers, and a local nonprofit that brings plants to people in need of healing after medical procedures or in the hospital.

First Avenue Market’s Deanna Dahlstad joined the Morning Show for a live interview about International Mud Day’s foundations, why mud can be so good for you, and what you’ll be able to do at this weekend’s event.
