Fox & Friends pays visit to Randy’s Diner Too in West Fargo
WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – Bumper crowds turned out to Randy’s Diner Too on Monday for Fox & Friends first ever visit to North Dakota.
The Fox News morning show sent host Brian Kilmeade to the West Fargo restaurant, where he spoke with patrons, and interviewed North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum.
Burgum’s appearance on the show came amid mounting speculation that he will be selected as the running mate for former President Donald Trump.
“The only thing that would disappoint Kathryn and I is if President Trump is not elected again. And that’s what we’re spending our time and energy on right now, because we know it’s the right thing for North Dakota. We know it’s the right thing for the country.”
Senator Kevin Cramer also stopped by Randy’s Diner Too. He said that Governor Burgum’s potential candidacy makes a lot of sense.
“He exudes strength, he exudes confidence, he exudes that stability that I think people are looking for in a campaign, and in politics. Particularly for the United States in a time where the world is a bit on fire.”
He added that Burgum and Trump’s contrasting personalities could play well together.
“They are united and really of one mind when it comes to philosophy, governing philosophy, how to really facilitate the growth of a major economy. On the other hand, their styles are different. Their personalities are different, and I think both of those things really make them a very good team.”
Cramer also praised Burgum for his efforts to raise the profile of North Dakota.
“He showed off our beautiful state. But people are getting to know Doug and Kathryn as good, solid, normal people with incredible aspirations. Having met their goals in many cases and reaching for even bigger goals. I think they get to see the best of North Dakota.”
