Video captures tornado touching down in Richland County

RICHLAND COUNTY, N.D. (KVRR) — Scary scenes from Richland County, south of Fargo on Saturday. Chief Meteorologist Max Mueller captured this video while he was out following the storms.

This tornado lofted dirt and debris into the air about 8 miles to the southwest of Colfax.

There have not been been any reports of damage with this tornado and the National Weather Service has sent a crew to survey the scene.

Additional storms that moved through Minnesota produced large hail and toppled over large trees and numerous power lines from Felton, Minnesota all the way to the Twin Cities.
