LIVE: Fargo Street Fair sees huge turnout
FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — The Downtown Fargo Street Fair kicked off Thursday, and with good weather people flocked to the fair from the moment it opened.
The fair has expanded its footprint this year, stretching all the way up Broadway from Main Ave. to 7th Ave. N.
There are over 200 vendors at the street fair this year, making for plenty of chances to grab food, drinks, art and other products from the region.
The fair has also increased their security this year, in response to the police ambush that occurred at the same time as the fair last year.
However, as Rocky Schneider with the Downtown Community Partnership notes, the added security hasn’t interfered with the street fair’s atmosphere.
Check out this live interview with Schneider from our KVRR Moring Show Friday.
