LIVE: Sanford and Dairy Queen join us to talk Miracle Treat Day

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – During the summer a lot of people opt for an ice cream treat. And during Miracle Treat Day that treat can help with an important cause.

The annual Dairy Queen fundraiser is on Thursday, with a dollar being collected for every Blizzard sold.

The money is given to the Children’s Miracle Network, who helps provide services at Sanford Children’s Hospital in Fargo.

Sanford Health Fargo Foundation lead development officer Hillery Mork says that over the

18 years it’s been going on, Miracle Treat Day has had huge benefits for Sanford Children’s.
