Update: Standoff ends with arrest in Grand Forks

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) – A Fort Totten man who had been wanted for several state and federal warrants was arrested following a standoff in Grand Forks Monday.
Police say at approximately 4:34 p.m., officers and the FBI were searching for 32-year-old Collin Posey, when Posey jumped through the open window of a nearby apartment at 1923 12th Ave. N.
The female tenant of the apartment escaped and the officers surrounded the building.
Posey was believed to be armed and dangerous and was refusing to leave. The Grand Forks Regional SWAT Team, Crisis Negotiations Team, Unmanned Aerial Systems Team and Bomb Team were called to assist.
Drones and a bomb robot were placed in the apartment, and after a several hour standoff, the incident was resolved after the SWAT team made entry and Posey was found hiding within the residence. He was taken into custody without incident.
Nobody was injured. Posey was arrested on the outstanding warrants.
