Man Indicted By Grand Jury After June Arrest Near The Arbors With Loaded Pistol

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — State charges against a Fargo man for unlawful possession of a firearm, escape and refusal to halt have been dropped after he was indicted in federal court.

Kadar Pearson made his initial appearance and arraignment this morning after the grandy jury indictment was unsealed with a charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Pearson was arrested in June near the Arbors apartment complex and had a loaded pistol.

At the time, he was on escape status with North Dakota Department of Corrections.

He was serving time for possession with intent to deliver fentanyl and theft of a firearm.
