Fatal Stabbing in North Moorhead Under Investigation, Woman Arrested

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR: 5pm Update) — A man stabbed in the chest in north Moorhead has died of his injuries at Sanford Medical Center.

47-year-old Connie Jo Frank is booked into Clay County Jail for second degree murder and DWI.

Police will not release the name of the victim until family members can be notified.

Police say they responded to a report of a stabbing just after midnight in the 1000 block of 3rd Avenue North.

They found the man with what appeared to be a wound from a sharp instrument and he was rushed to the hospital.

They say the victim and Frank knew each other.

Minnesota BCA is assisting with the investigation.
