Woman Killed In Crash While Crossing Highway 2 Near Devils Lake is Identified

DEVILS LAKE, N.D. (KVRR) — A Devils Lake woman who died after her vehicle was hit by a semi on Friday morning has been identified.
Highway Patrol says 70-year-old Joann Burt was pulling out of a driveway to cross the eastbound lanes of Highway 2 when she was hit.
It happened just before 10 a.m., about two miles east of Devils Lake.
Burt was taken to the hospital where she died from her injuries.
The driver of the semi, 68-year-old Glen Lucas of Zavalla, Texas, had superficial injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
