FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Fargo Park District has been awarded a “Minnesota Twins Fields for Kids” grant to update local softball and baseball fields.

Funds were used to replace the dugouts at Field #1 of Anderson Softball Complex.

They were also able to upgrade the bullpens on the baseball fields at Tharaldson Baseball Complex with new portable pitching mounds.

The improvements are part of the park district’s commitment to provide quality recreational opportunities for athletes in the region.

Since its inception in 1999, the Twins Fields for Kids program has granted over $5.5 million to nearly 900 ball fields.
