Names Released in Fatal Pedestrian Crash This Week in Detroit Lakes

DETROIT LAKES, Minn. (KVRR) — Names are released in a fatal pedestrian crash Tuesday in Detroit Lakes.

Police say 81-year-old Dean Chadbourne of Detroit Lakes was hit while walking in the 1500 block of Randolph Road in the noon hour.

The driver of the car has been identified as 19-year-old Mariska Nunn of Detroit Lakes.

Chadbourne died shortly after being hit.

The road was closed for about three hours during the response and investigation which is still active.

The crash remains under investigation.
