Man Who Sparked Security Concerns Tuesday at Westside Elementary Arrested for Terrorzing

WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — A man who set off security concerns at Westside Elementary in West Fargo on Tuesday morning has been arrested for terrorizing.

Police say 48-year-old James Arneson of West Fargo was on a bicycle when he made threats to school staff members around 8 a.m. Tuesday.

As a precaution, Westside was placed under secure school protocol.

Police arrested Arneson today on charges of terrorizing and he was taken to jail.

School officials lifted the security protocol this morning saying there is no ongoing threat to the school or public.
