Buxton, ND Teen Has Severe Injuries After Crashing Into Moving Train

BUXTON, N.D. (KVRR) — An 18-year-old Buxton, North Dakota teen is in a Fargo hospital after crashing into a moving train.

It happened about one mile north of Buxton just before 8 a.m.

Highway Patrol says the teen struck the second engine of the train and his vehicle was dragged about 50 feet down the tracks.

He suffered severe injuries and was flown to Fargo to be treated.

The crash remains under investigation.
