Salvation Army Now Collecting Kids Winter Clothing At Hornbachers
FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — The Salvation Army is now collecting Winter gear at Hornbacher locations across the Fargo-Moorhead area.
Donations that are needed for this year are new or gently used kids winter gear.
Tracy Bjerke of the Salvation Army states that the gear they would like donated would be something you would send your kids out to keep warm in the winter.
From scarves, gloves, boots, pants to jackets.
“Unfortunately, sometimes there are kiddos and adults that don’t have proper winter attire. So, you know, we’ve all had to stand out in the cold for some reason or another or even for a short time. Now just imagine you know a little kid or even an adult having to be outside without a coat on,” said Tracy Bjerke, Community Engagement Director at Salvation Army.
Donations are being accepted from now to Saturday, October 5.
Individuals who have any questions about the donations can visit the Salvation Army website.
