West Fargo High School Recognized For Inclusive Sports And Activities

WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — West Fargo High School is receiving national recognition for providing inclusive sports and activities for students with and without intellectual disabilities.

The school is part of Special Olympics Unified Champion School programming and met ten national standards of excellence in inclusion, advocacy and respect,

Special Olympics North Dakota president and CEO, Nancy Hanson, says West Fargo High’s success reflects not only their commitment to their students but also their broader impact on the inclusion landscape.

More than 20 schools are participating in the programming in North Dakota.
