Fundraiser Started For Teen Injured After Crashing Into Moving Train Near Buxton, ND

BUXTON, N.D. (KVRR) — A GoFundMe has been started to raise money for a new vehicle for an 18-year-old from Buxton, North Dakota who crashed into a moving train.

Classmates and friends started the fundraiser for Jack Knudsvig, a senior from Central Valley.

They say he is stable in the ICU with a long road ahead following last week’s crash about a mile north of Buxton.

His vehicle was dragged about 50 feet down the tracks.

The crash remains under investigation by North Dakota Highway Patrol.

The fundraiser has brought in $22,000 of the $25,000 goal.
