WARROAD, Minn. (KVRR) — Northern Minnesota’s newest arts, culture, and events center is opening on Saturday.

Warroad RiverPlace will be holding a family-friendly “grand welcoming” of the new state-of-the-art facility located along the bank of the Warroad River.

You’ll be able to take a tour of the 20,000-square-foot, multipurpose building which is home to an art gallery; a 320-seat performance hall, classroom, commercial kitchen and patio for outdoor events.

The all-day event is free and open to the public.

The Grand Welcoming Concert is already sold out.

Frank and Margaret Marvin made the lead donation for the non-profit center.

The inaugural season of programming begins in 2025.
