One Person and Pets Rescued During Apartment Fire Friday Night in Grand Forks

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) — One person and multiple pets were rescued from a burning apartment building in Grand Forks on Friday night.
Crews were called out to a second floor apartment at 2816 17th Street South for visible smoke and flames.
They were told several people were trapped inside the building but only found one person and multiple pets on the third floor.
One apartment has extensive damage while the entire complex has smoke damage.
People living in the building were not allowed back in for the night and were helped by the American Red Cross.
No one was injured.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
